Don't Stress and Just Relax


 A lot of illnesses start with being stressed about something.  I know when I get too stressed I always come down with a cold or something.  Or I get an upset stomach.  When you are stressed for a prolonged time then you can get really physically ill.  

I am aware of this but it's still hard to not be stressed out with something like trying to get pregnant and it not working.  It's also really annoying when people are like just relax and it will happen.  Well thank you so much, I'm aware of that, if I could just relax then obviously I would.  I don't think anyone who has not been in the same situation can really understand how much trying to get pregnant consumes you.  It's quite impossible to take your mind off it because it's just there, waiting for ovulation and then waiting to see if you get your period.  There is just no way you can just relax because you know when you are ovulating and you know when your period is due so you can't help but constantly thinking about it.  

That being said I think the most we can do is find new hobbies and things that we enjoy to just take up our time and at least try to take our mind off of it for some period of time.  I am literally obsessed with thinking about getting pregnant that I feel totally consumed at times.  I try to think positively and imagine myself pregnant and giving birth and what I would be like as a mum in the hopes that maybe I can manifest it.  Sometimes it can just overwhelm me and it's not healthy.  I know it's not healthy but I don't know how to stop.  I decided to get more focused on my physical health and start back in the gym.  Now that it is summer I have also started swimming on a daily basis.  I feel like this has really helped me to get rid of some stress and helped me to relax.  I also bought a GoPro recently and am going to be making videos and really learning how to use it to give me another hobby.  I think it's very hard to just relax and not be stressed out, especially the longer you've been trying, its just hard not to constantly think about it.  I do also think that the best we can do is just find other things we enjoy doing and focus on all the things we can do that make us happy.   If you have any suggestions on hobbies to try then leave a comment.
